Dr. Mark Flannery earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, his Master of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree graduating cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College - Los Angeles. Dr. Flannery is a Diplomate of the College of Clinical Nutrition, a Diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition, and a Certified Nutrition Specialist by the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists. He also holds certifications in Nutrition Response Testin, Applied Kinesiology (AK), Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM), and Graston Technique.
Dr. Flannery practices with his wife, Dr. Vera, in Simi Valley, California specializing in the treatment of autoimmune disorders and chronic illness using advanced nutritional therapies. Areas of specialized expertise include, but are not limited to, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, Functional Endocrinology with emphasis on Thyroid conditions, Neurotransmitter and Brain health, and immune dysfunction.

Dr. Mark Flannery assists his patients in achieving their optimal health by focusing on correcting the imbalances in their physiology. Dr. Flannery’s evaluation procedures for patient analysis include: a detailed medical history, review of previous lab tests and treatments, metabolic assessment, brain and neurotransmitter assessment and an analysis of functional blood chemistry, urine, stool, and saliva. A detailed health history and thorough clinical analysis of lab findings results in a targeted approach to addressing the underlying cause of dysfunction. Dr. Flannery is adamant that it’s not just a patient’s symptoms that need to be addressed, but the underlying cause of those symptoms.
In addition to his thriving Chiropractic practice, Dr. Flannery is a professor at Moorpark College teaching Anatomy to pre-nursing students. His lectures include his clinical experience with patients while emphasizing a holistic approach to health. His passion is educating doctors, students, and patients on healthcare and alternative therapies for whole body wellness.
