Patient Forms
We request that you fill out our patient forms located in the New Patient Center of this website. Please bring these forms with you to your first appointment. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.
Consultation
To find out if we can help you, we ask questions and listen. Your first visit is designed for us to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine whether you are a candidate for chiropractic care.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Flannery will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing motion, muscle balance and spinal alignment. An explanation of Chiropractic and its benefits to the nervous system will be discussed to educate you.
X-Ray Studies
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to to get a full evaluation of a patient. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
Report of Findings
Once all the information has been recorded and examinations have been performed, Dr. Flannery will give you a report of findings to answer the three most popular questions:
Can you help me?
What do you recommend that I do to get better?
How much is it going to cost?
After discussing with you your history and your goals, examining your spine and reviewing any x-rays or tests, Dr. Flannery will discuss recommendations with you. If Dr. Flannery believes she can help you, she will recommend treatment and a wellness program.
Treatment
Patients will generally be provided with light therapy at the conclusion of their second visit. Treatment is interactive with you, where we can discuss the style of adjustment you will be most comfortable with. Why is treatment postponed until the second visit? It is necessary to have all the pieces of your puzzle before we can put you back together. We do not do guess work in our office.
